  My journey in  #agility  wasn’t planned at all. It all began a couple of years ago when in my line of work as trainer and facilitator, I was invited to lead a  #leadership  focused learning session themed ‘Leading Agile Teams.’ I found the topic fascinating and decided to do some research. Even though I had facilitated many leadership sessions up until that time, I needed to understand why a team would be described as ‘Agile’. Once my research began, I was instantly drawn to the subject! I kept digging and couldn’t stop.

Just last week I listened to @ivie-temitayo-ibitoye share on how she started her work as a Recruitment Consultant. The event was @bankolewilliams  New Employment Strategies for Africa  virtual event. In response to @gbengatotoyi mention of the need to imbibe writing skills in boosting employ-ability opportunities, Ivie spoke about how some years ago, by writing & sharing tips for effective recruitment on Instagram, (something she was truly deeply passionate about) she unexpectedly attracted the attention of an interested client. The client had gone ahead to ask about her services & charges. Shocked, she quickly conferred with her colleagues on a suitable response format & later went on to deliver her ‘consulting services’ to the satisfaction of her first client. Imagine? Today Ivie is a force to be reckoned with in her domain. Hearing her speak, you know she is the real deal. Even though I started out my work life in Design/Tech, I didn’t think I would be in a place where I would be sharing knowledge about using Digital Technology. Why? Because I was more focused on using that knowledge for my personal purposes and then to earn whenever I choose to. Websites, Web/Domain/Hosting administration, Multimedia authoring, Graphic designs, Landing/Sales pages, you name it! I simply enjoy engaging and creating amazingness with digital tools.
